·         Graduated in Philosophy from Cotton College (at present Cotton College State University), Guwahati, in 1998

·         Post-graduated in Philosophy from Gauhati University, Guwahati, with the specialization in Logic  in 2001

·         Qualified NET in Philosophy in December 2002

·         Received PhD in Philosophy from Gauhati University (Notification Memo No. G.U./Acad./Ph.D. Award List-April/2018/2169-2268, dated 02-05-2018)  on the doctoral thesis entitled, “Deep Ecology of Arne Naess: A Critical Study”
